Founder Clarence Davidson started Davebilt Co. in 1964 along with his wife Janette. At that time he was manufacturing his inventions for nut harvesting related items. Beginning with large scale harvesting pickers, blowers and pre-cleaners, now specializing in hand-operated items, created with the home or small orchard in mind.

She oversees all of the office related functions as well as helping out in the shop making and welding up parts as needed. She’s been in and out of the shop since 1964. Her first job was sweeping the floors. She has been the main welder for many years.

After joining the family in the early 2000s, He worked part-time making parts until his retirement from teaching wood shop at the local high school. Now he’s the main parts guy, keeping ahead of what Rose needs to weld up.

He oversees and controls the rodent population. He gives his human (COD) purpose in keeping the kibble level at an acceptable level. Known to overwinter in the shop and not be overly bothered by certain shop noise levels.
